The Article Heard Around Packer Nation

There's a whole lot of smoke in this article by Bob McGinn about Ron Wolf blaming Mike Holmgren for the Packers loss to the Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII, but there's also some fire. Wolf comes across as old and bitter, Tom Lovat comes across as defensive, and Greg Robinson comes across as a complete jerk. Ex-Packers Leroy Butler, Mark Chumura, Aaron Taylor and Doresy Levens are quoted, almost all in agreement with Wolf. In fact, just about the only major player not interviewed is Mike Holmgren, who apparently never considered speaking with McGinn. It's a shame, because it reduces his obviously important side of the story to a single quote in a Will McDonough article from 2002.

In the world of the Green Bay Packers and its rabid fan base, the article will read almost Shakespearean in its scope, weight, and again, for Packer fans, tragic undertone, dragging us back to that awful day and leaving us with fresh doubts and regrets for what might have been.
