If Murray is that great a ILB, he won't fall to 30. To much defense that won't develop!!!

The best edge, LBs, Ilb, will be gone before the end of two. No one is going to start. Bolton and Summers will be back. The ILBs will be solved in Free Agency. So why take one? The 6th and 7th rounds have several that can grow, and do just as good as the 2nd rd picks. Reaching for a LB in the 2nd would be dumb, with Taylor or others on offense available.

No; Shenault is now 2nd rd. Higgins is at #30 with Mims. I'll take Higgins over Mims any day. Mims can drop passes now and then. Reagor is @50 and AiYuk has dropped to 60. Taylor, Swift and Dobbins all top 35- 50. Taylor is the easier trade up over a Several Wrs. If anything; Claypool jump to second, is not justified. 3rd round. Hurts= I figured everyone will have a QB. The last is the slot Wr; Duvernay has dropped balls at the combine. But with such a deep class of Wrs. He is a 5th. More teams will take defensive players and QBs before #30. The ones who don't take in the first will take in the second.

In a draft mock, I always look at positions drafted, not so much players. This is a solid draft, addressing all the team's weaknesses.

So much yet to be determined through FA, but if this were the only opportunity for player procurement going into camp, I agree.

This answers the question of whether Veldheer wants to play in 2020. The questions are:
Do the Packers want him?
Will he want to play for the Packers?
How much will he cost?
How much does he have in the tank?

More than likely, neither guy will be wearing green and gold. Maybe they give Bulaga a two year set up with incentive clauses? We remember the last extension and him sitting out a good portion of two years with injury. See what happens.

Bulaga says GB has had no contact with him. If so, I would think they are looking to replace him via the draft (Josh Jones?) and will re-sign Veldheer.

I guess if your choices are between two OT's with injury issues you might as well go with the one who will cost less ?

If we are moving on from Bulaga I am certainly on board with Veldheer if the price is right. I am not comfortable with a move of Billy Turner to RT. I think we have to draft an OT early. Maybe we will luck out again and they are able to take over the starting job like Jenkins.

Veldheer has expressed interest in playing again, this upcoming season. I've read that LaFLeur has talked to him about it.I think he stays in GB, no matter what happens with Bulaga.

Who knows? Depends on the system, scheme and team. No one knows how the draft plays out till it happens. Personally I think Baun is that special player who shines at the next level when giving a chance. His football IQ is off the charts to go along with his physical ability. He is just the type of player who would a good fit in Pettine's scheme. He's a sleeper to media types, but not to teams. I don't think he is a reach late first. But it's just wild guess on my part.
