Season-Ending Packer Transplants Tonight

And so it ends.

It's been a great ride, doing these live shows every week with all of you tuning in, or at least catching them later on the replay. But tonight will be the last live Packer Transplants broadcast probably until around the Draft in April. Joining us to wrap up the season will be ESPN's NFC North blogger Kevin Seifert as well as Jason Wilde of ESPNMilwaukee.com. And of course as always we'll be talking to Brian Carriveau of Railbird Central, our partner in Cheesehead Nation.

I will no doubt say this on air as well, but I also wanted to make sure to give a shout-out to Holly Phelps, who not only does just an amazing job over at The Other 31, but who worked tirelessly behind the scenes each week on the Live Blog weeding through all the comments, which can come in at break-neck speed - and all the time while adding great, insightful commentary as well. She's one of a kind, and we really lucked into something great when she agreed to join us this season.

On a final note, which is more than an apology than anything - I know the show in podcast form has all but disappeared the second half of the season. Not a week goes by where Corey and I don't get an email asking, nay, imploring us to get the Podcast up on iTunes. I promise we'll get this sorted out by the time we start the next season of Transplants, again most likely around Draft time - but getting the show up live is a major undertaking in and of itself, consuming more hours than just what you see online - cutting up and producing the podcast at an acceptable level requires an additional 3 or 4 hours that have just escaped us the last couple months. Hopefully, we'll find someone to help with this task over the next couple months.

In the meantime, thanks very much for sticking with us. It's been a blast and we'll definitely learn from this first season and make things even better for 2010. See you tonight. :)

Are you sure ESPN allows them to do this? The Leader might jam your signal. "Raspberry."

Great job with taking the next step in your fanaticism. I used to listen only on podcast but the "lack of" forced me to tune in live, because the show is THAT good. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, just look at Jason Wilde's page for the podcast proliferation and JS Online for live blogs. Brian and Holly add that extra sharpness to Cheesehead Nation. You guys are a emerging as a real player!
PS, my wife is onto us with my dispondency on Tuesdays and late night pages. We need to tone down this affair.

Keep it going cheeseheadtv... I can't stand the Lethargic, highest paid guy playing catch with the lowest paid guy until someone can hit a ball, waiting ten minutes catch game to intentionally walk a player, no need for instant replay but maybe a fast forward button, boring season called baseball.

Go Pack 2010!!

Oh well, I guess there's only a month until NASCAR starts. But, like ARodg, I had different plans for January....

Sad it's the last of the season, but looking forward to tonight's show. Make sure you talk to Kevin about his vehement rebuttal to Rex Ryan's comments today. Good stuff.

And thanks. You guys set the bar really high. All I can do is try to keep up, really.

I hate the loss, and the refs were certainly no help ( so many roughing the passer calls on A-Rod this season not called, mmm...) but the DEFENSE DID NOT SHINE! Hey, I checked around the web and the Pack was, and is, definitely the BETTER TEAM (lucky ass Cardinals!), but we allowed 51 f*****g points! McCarthy and Thompson better get their s**t together when assessing this 2009 season and make the appropriate adjustments! However, this '09 season beats the hell out of the '08 season - GO PACK GO!!!
