Report: Randall Cobb Hospitalized the Night Before NFC Championship

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported on air minutes before the NFC Championship that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was hospitalized for three hours the night before the NFC Championship game.

Doctors reportedly thought Cobb had appendicitis, but according to Glazer, the pain subsided and the wide receiver will play on Sunday.

Few other details are currently available at the time of publication.

Really Danny D ? In a game nobody gave them a chance with a gimpy QB and 4 rookies starting they were an onside kick away from the SB . I am proud of them , stick to your loser Vikings , their only concern is birds flying into their new stadium not Seahawks .

The packers were easily the better team today, sucks the scoreboard doesn't show that. I am proud of the packers, and am appreciative to be a fan. Like always, go packers! Unfortunate that they couldn't finish the job, but they'll be in the superbowl next season. A gimpy rodgers, clay getting hurt at the end, and the red zone struggles, yet we should have left with a victory against the toughest team to beat at home with the best defense. We were a couple fluke plays from leaving with the win.
