Report: "No Major Damage" to Tramon Williams' Ankle

According to Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Head coach Mike McCarthy would say during his press conference that he didn't think any of the injuries the Packers suffered on Sunday were long term, but he did not speak about Williams specifically.

Excellent news!1 We need both Shields and Williams healthy. Given our run-defense isn't very good we need to keep our best players healthy on the pass-defense. Now if B. Jones would just get hurt again for the long-term we would all rest comfortably.

Ok. The comment about B. Jones getting hurt was mean spirited. Maybe if he just peacefully retired we would all rest comfortably.

I think sam and tramon should rest this week if there is any question about them being less than 100 percent in the future as this is a less than impressive receiving corps. House can handle benjamin, with hayward being able to handle avant, and hyde taking the slot role. Haha will probably get his first start as well at safety. This may mean goodson is active for the first time all year as well... hope he show some improvement from the pre-season and shows us why he was on the roster over rolle. We'll see I guess, although TT usually makes the correct decision.

Goodson has talent. Decent speed, excellent 3 cone time. He is just raw and needs coaching. His preseason play showed clearly that he was not ready for prime time. IDK why he made the roster instead of Rolle.
