Potential MASH unit to take field in Houston for Packers

The Packers are plenty banged up heading into their showdown with the Texans

Where to start.

David Bakhtiari was at least present at practice today, but did not participate. Expect Elgton Jenkins to get the start at left tackle on Sunday.

Aaron Jones missed practice and will be added to the injury report. (Update: It's a calf strain)

After being limited the last two days, Kevin King did not participate in Friday's practice. Expect to see more Josh Jackson and Kadar Hollman down in Houston.

Darnell Savage, Tyler Lancaster, and Tyler Ervin also did not participate in today's practice.

On the good side of the ledger, Robert Tonyan and Corey Linsley were back at practice today.

Lots of moving parts for Matt LaFleur and staff to deal with during Sunday's game.

Here's the final injury report:

Lots of moving parts, both now and next March when we're discussing contracts and the salary cap.

I assume Gutekunst is scouring practice squads, UFA's and waiver wires as we speak trying to plug holes in the dam.

He should be lining up a trade or two. Play to win.

There really is no short term fix until the players come off their injuries. It’s just the ole next man up mentality. As far as next year I expect to see a lot of changes. But that’s next year. We play the game one play at a time and one game at a time. Enjoy the ride.

Same thing happening across the league. Soft tissue injuries are the price of not hitting in a covid season. Only going to get worse short term till their core group heals up. Packers are going to have a lot more players hobbling along before this season is over. On the other hand we're not the Raiders, who lost their entire O line to the virus short term. Reports are they broke quarantine. Don't they know what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... (Heh heh heh heh....)
