It’s a win really for both teams. First and foremost, it’s a team game. 1 week a teams wins with stellar special teams play, another week the defense takes over, another week it’s by running , another week it’s by passing etc…while a QB is the most important position…there are plenty of super bowls and big games won by mediocre QB play because the rest of the team played as a team. Look at Jimmy G with SanFran…is he a world beater…no. Russell wilson with seattle.. good team, marginal qb play. Stafford …ALL those years with the lions some seasons they only won 2 games, but you surround him with all stars …and he gets a super bowl. If those examples don’t show anyone it’s a team game, I don’t know what will. Even if Love can just deliver the ball, not turn it over I feel he can do well in the system. Course the proof will be in the pudding. We’ll definitely find out what we have in him these next 2 yrs. If Rodgers does well with the Jets…good for him. The only thing I think would be hilarious is if he goes strolling into Jets practice wearing a Namath fur coat.

I agree with EVERYTHING you say, but there is one thing I think you should consider
Regarding the TE position; last year we saw the Cover Two Deep Safety look make its comeback. How do you beat that? You know how to beat that Aaron, your TE up the seem. The TE position has MORE value this year than in years past because of this fact alone. Gutey knows this, how stubborn will he be with his old methods? He showed some flexibility last year.
He has the ability to draft the BEST TE in this class this year. If he makes a bold move and stays one step in front of the game he will look like genius. If he splits hairs on this, he will miss out on the latest new weapon that counters what teams are doing to defend todays passing game.
4 more days of him going back and forth on it......
Great trade for the NFL today. Packers went all in on Rodgers for 3 years and fell just short. Another year of it is just too costly. Aaron is going to a place that can give him what the Packers can't, I would like to see him get to the mountaintop, even though he couldn't do that hear.....Next year after the compensation is determined.

I'm getting a kick out of Jets fans doing everything but holding their Super Bowl victory parade today. They might as well because one year from now they'll be asking what they really got in return.
While Rodgers greatly upgrades their qb situation they had nowhere to go but straight through to China where they were. I think in the end they get about the same as they and Vikings got with Favre.

With the Rodgers trade finally complete, I want to congratulate the Packers brass for holding firm and getting adequate compensation. I'm excited to see Jordan Love take over the offense and to see who the Packers draft at No. 13. Go Pack go. Can't wait for the season to start. Just 3 more months until training camp!

So Packer fans, 30 years of being perennial SB contenders was not good enough? Reality check. Why do you think the Jets, Who just drafted a QB with the 2nd pick want Rodgers? ITS BECAUSE GREAT QBs are very difficult to get. Rookie QBs have a 1 in 20 chance of even being a starting quarterback let alone a great one.
GUTE, YOU IDIOT. This clown with no resume or football IQ just chased away the most accurate and greatest pure passer in NFL history. His career average of 36 tds and 4 ints Will never be matched. Welcome to NFL hell packer fans. You will have a QB carousel of 30 QBs over the next ten years. Love and Gute will be gone next year and Rodgers will have another SB
