Are we going to lose our chemistry with the RB's leaving?

Heard a rumor that JJ was a little cheesed when Ted bypassed on TJ (and especially when the GB front office indirectly let it be known they did not think TJ was going to do much in the pros and that is why they bypassed him). I think Wilde was talking about that issue on his show in the last week or so.

Of course, that was when Ted was still the Wizard in control so maybe bygones will be bygones.

For all of the Watt haters saying he’s done, wasn’t Charles Woodson done when he came to GB?

And Peppers.

Peppers played for the Packers, but he was not as impactful as some boast. Besides, he played a huge part in that loss to Sea having Burnett, IIRC, go down on the INT instead of running toward the end zone, and assuring GB an FG at least. A game changing brain fart that is undeniable by anybody. Other that the brain fart, Peppers contribution to the team wasn't deserving of boasting. He was one of the many 'Elephants' with silent roars.

Woodson was a better player than Watt.

Gotta consider getting this guy for the possible psychological impact of a big boost in an attitude of ferocity.
If the Packers think he still has the skills in good measure, and he's pumped to contribute to a Super Bowl winner in whatever role is appropriate, the question is not Watt, but when?

We already have Z and Gary (if we believe it) - I don't think Watt will come

What if we signed R. Sherman instead ???

Nags- Like the intro and exo music, but that is cutting into the Q & A time. Are you getting lax on us? Watch your show everyday.

Not sure what JJ has left in the tank but even a 75% JJ, on a team friendly deal, would be an upgrade for our DL. It all depends on his health as I think he can play both inside and outside.

Works for me. But not for the Cap.

The odds posted online are the Steelers first then the packers and the Bucs , would be a shame if the Packers allow Watt to go to the Bucs.

Interesting. Pittsburgh's cap is pretty bad. -$30M with several big UFAs.

TB has +$15M but a brutal list of big name UFAs. All In?

Waiting to see where the NFL and the NFLPA set the cap number.

I'm sure we'll read about the Packers being involved in the JJ watt deliberations, but like always he'll probably go elsewhere.

Most likely.
I have no confidence either with this organization doing what's right for the defense.

Maybe Rodgers will be open to a Jj Watt friendly redo on his contract.

Find a way to sign JJ Watt and Jason Varret and draft CB, DL, WR first three picks, in any order, and Rodgers will skip his honeymoon with the beautiful Shailene Woodley to come early to training camp, hand Love his bride's garter, and even skip his guest hosting of Jeopardy.

Watt may be old and we all love Gary's progress but Watt is still a better player, so why not have both? Who do you double, Clark, Z, Watt, or Gary? Sub in Keke and the new young high pick DL and you've got the best D line in football, as long as Barry doesn't drop them in coverage too often.

Make all the difficult cuts; Jones, Jamaal, P. Smith, Lowry, Wagner, my fav boy Lindsley, even the kid whose bike Lindsley rides to practice every spring, hard as that will be. Rework Rodgers and Bahk, extend Davante, there'll be plenty of money... and give Rodgers a defense like Brady has had most of his career. The Packer players will love it and party like it was 1945 when the girls were kissing anyone in uniform. It's time!

We should sign Watt.

Jj watt isn’t going to get a ring with the steelers and he’s got a good chance with the Pack and he wants a ring
