Robert Saleh said that the team wants to continue working with Zach Wilson but acknowledged that bringing in a more experienced option is something that was a focal point of conversations with Hackett and other candidates.

“The quarterback position was the No. 1 concern,” Saleh said, via SNY. “Rightfully so. And it was simple. We’re committed to finding a veteran, we didn’t get into names.”

No need to tell Saleh, everyone knows who you mean.

The real question is will the Packers completely eff this up a second time in as many years with so clear a path and team to trade to.

This is like T-Ball for the Packers. Sure they whiffed last year when they could have traded #12 to the Broncos. But surely someone in leadership can hit this one out of the park. The Jets are setting the Packers up to win just like the Broncos. Will the Packers snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory once again?

Favre...Hall of Fame MVP career and one Super Bowl win with Packers ending in futility and drama; a move to the Jets; texting pics of his junk to women; on to Vikings; defrauding his home state of welfare money

Rodgers..Hall of Fame MVP career and one Super Bowl win with Packers ending in futility and drama; a move to the Jets...take his phone away now and break the cycle!

If you believe Shailene Woodley, Rodgers unit wouldn't have fit in the photo frame that Brett sent. Brett apparently wore a number that was representative of his fully inflated manhood.

But a good idea nonetheless.

Say, I wonder what Jen Sterger is up to these days, is Rodgers dating anyone?

Jen sure did look like a young Deanna though, didn't she? Some guys definitely have "type".

like this NFL talking head said..."Nathaniel Hackett is going to build a whole career off of teams hiring him in hopes of getting Aaron Rodgers only to realize that Aaron Rodgers isn't going to sign with any of the teams that bring in Hackett"" hmmmm...

Perhaps Rodgers see's Hackett as a guy he can mold into his vision of offense...like he did with Hackjob at GB...if Hackett couldn't get anything out of Wilson why do the Jets think he'll work wonders in NY...
