Packers won't be staying at St. Norbert for training camp

The team annopunces they will be utilize Lambeau Field for all their training camp activities. 

For the first time since 1958, Packers players will not be staying at St. Norbert College during training camp due to protocols put in place by the NFL that has clubs maximizing use of their own facilities to mitigate exposure to the Covid-19 pandemic.

From the team: 

St. Norbert has hosted the Packers for training camp since 1958, with players residing in an on-campus residence hall and eating dinner in the college's commons.

This is a good move by the Packers given the current situation with Covid 19. Hopefully our players, coaches and staff remain healthy.

As an SNC alum, we always thought that little bit of connection between the college students and players was a fun piece of the mythos of the team. Hopefully with better public health, that connex will return.
