Packers waive safety Johnathan Abram
The former first round pick joined the team earlier this month when Green Bay claimed him off of waivers from the Raiders.

From Pelissero:
The #Packers are waiving safety Johnathan Abram, per source.
Abram contributed during his short stint in Green Bay, which now wants to look at its young guys. So for the second time in three weeks, the former #Raiders first-round pick hits waivers.

Abram was a healthy scratch on Sunday night in Philadelphia, so this isn't really a surprise.
The former Raiders first round pick had a career-high 116 total tackles with four passes defended and an interception during 14 appearances in 2021, but his play slipped significantly this season.
Abram has 40 total tackles and one pass defended through 12 games in 2022. He played 28 special teams snaps for the Packers, notching two tackles.

Interesting. Green Bay now wants to look at its young guys? Wow. Is this started with Jordsan Love? Or he is not young any more!
