GAME PREDICTIONS Week 10 Green Bay Packers vs. Tennesse Titans |
|||
---|---|---|---|
Name | Record | Pick | Prediction |
Adam | 4-4 | Green Bay Packers | 22-20 |
Marcus Marriotta runs around makes a bunch of plays, but throws a costly pick in the end.
|
Jersey Al | 3-5 | Green Bay Packers | 27-19 |
Similar to the 2009 season, te Packers find themselves at 4-4 after a loss to a bad team. in '09, they turned the season around after a "come to Jesus" meeting with five straight wins and seven of their last eight. I don't know if they had a meeting, but I believe they right the ship this weekend, if only for one game.
|
Andrew | 4-4 | Green Bay Packers | 21-10 |
The Packers should be able to shut down Demarco Murray, which will cut the legs out of the Titans offense. Randall Cobb is full go so the offense is in pretty good shape despite the backfield.
|
Cory | 4-4 | Tennessee Titans | 31-26 |
The Packers are one of the toughest teams to figure out on a week-by-week basis. The Packers defense will be on roller skates all afternoon trying to defend the rising Marcus Mariota. Another late Aaron Rodgers' surge will fall short.
|
Jason | 5-3 | Tennessee Titans | 31-17 |
As much as I wanted to pick this the other way around, I just can't trust this Packers team right now. All bets are off after the loss to the Colts in Green Bay last week. They simply aren't doing the things that their match ups would dictate that they can do this season. That means as much as the Packers should be able to run on the Titans, they won't. As well as they've been stopping the run, they'll struggle against DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry. Throw in that it's a road game and I just don't see how I can pick the Packers right now. Hopefully that ends after this week.
|
Jayme | 4-4 | Green Bay Packers | 24-21 |
Marcus Mariota has been turning the ball over this year, and if he continues that trend with an opportunistic Packers defense, perhaps the Packers energy level could be improved. The Packers need this win. They should be the better team, and should get this win, but after last week's performance it's hard to see anything other than a close game.
|
Michelle | 5-3 | Green Bay Packers | 27-17 |
I don’t know if this offense can score more than 30 points but I do know that Aaron Rodgers plays excellent when he plays angry and after that Colts loss, the Packers have a lot to be angry about.
|
Ross | 5-3 | Green Bay Packers | 28-24 |
It's tough to have any faith in the Packers after their performance last Sunday against Indy. The thing is, you have to believe they're going to win on Sunday if you think they're going to the playoffs. It's a must win.
|
Zach | 5-3 | Green Bay Packers | 26-17 |
You never know what you're going to get from the Packers anymore. But this week, they'll make easy work of the Titans, but have a hard time bottling the rushing attack.
|
Mr. X | 4-4 | Green Bay Packers | 42-17 |
The Packers will be pissed about their poor performance and all the resulting criticism they've had to take this week. They come out with purpose and put this one away early.

Unfortunately, I think Jason is right. Result will be again close, but it will be another catch from behind which fails...

IF the Packers were to lose on Sunday, it will definitely be the beginning of the end of the MM era, at least the "Official Beginning" of the end. A loss to the Titans would put this team in a downwards spin they won't recover from, no matter how many times the Vikings keep giving them chances to get back in it. It's just an opinion but to lose back to back games to the Colts and Titans??
Oh the shame of it!!!!

Packers play like this game actually means something.
Pack rolls 29 - 21.

I never give up on a game until it's over or the team until elimination.
I may be critical of the coaches, or the defense, or A Rodgers or Special Teams but I stick with them all from the opening KO until the final gun, because you never know. Sports like life can be crazy sometimes. Thanks, Since '61

If the Packers win the toss, I hope they defer. Let Capers come out with the Packers D releasing the hounds and playing like their hair's on fire to try and rattle the crap out of Mariotta. If they play Plain Jane even a youngster can beat this D if he has time.
Then unleash the creative, pre-Indy offense with even more unscouted looks.
This isn't a game to hold back on either O or D and try and save things, because the season could very well turn on the outcome.

I have no idea.
This GB team has been uninspiring and tepid to watch for over a year now. And yet the Titans are.. well... the Titans.
It would not surprise me if GB found a way to lose another close game. So.. yeah... that's my guess.

"I have no idea."
Just about ALL your posts should start out with these words.
Sorry, but, you're a menace to civility.

Actually, the Pack will probably pull this one out at the end. --- It won't mean much though if they lose the next two at Washington and Philadelphia. --- Two more NFC losses will really hurt.

Jason and Cory I agree! Packers play well in the first half but no Clay Matthews means no pass rush and the Packers D wilts on the road. Marcus Marriotta has a good day making some big plays. Titans 27 Packers 17. Geez That Sucks!

When other blogger were predicting a 9-7 season, I thought they were naive. Well, 9-7 is now an aspiration, not a given. As for MM's head? He'll keep his job until GB DOESN'T make the playoffs. Until then, the higher ups are fine with his mediocre record (unfortunately). Almost as if his team has given up on him. I also think last week's comments by AR to throw his teammates under the bus is counterproductive.

It would be interesting to know how many games the Packers have lost when Clay Mathews played vs. when he di not play.

I think they play tough on the road let's see if Mike Daniels gets the defense to show up today . This is a must win game.
