Packers' Trade of Jerel Worthy to Patriots Confirmed by League

Originally announced by agent Chafie Fields as "pending physical" on Tuesday, the trade of Jerel Worthy from the Green Bay Packers to the New England Patriots was confirmed by the NFL's transaction wire on Wednesday.

The league only described the Packers' receiving end of the trade as "Selection Choice—Unannounced," likely hinting of its conditional nature.

Reported by Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the Packers will receive a seventh-round draft choice if Worthy makes the Patriots' 53-man roster.
