What's the preseason version of "meh"? I'll watch because it's the Packers. But 4 preseason games is bad enough.

I don't mind watching the preseason games. That is where you start to discover young players who might help teams in the future. Think about some recent young players that have played well. Jeff Janis, Jayrone Elliott...

But 4 games is more then enough.

Why do the teams that play in the Hall of Fame Game have to play 5 games? I have never understood this. Why can't those 2 teams get a bye the following week?

$$$$

No team wants to lose an extra home game.

Why would they have to lose a home game?

Couldn't they both could consider that game a road game?

It's not just about the Packers and Colts. If they play a game on a neutral field and count it as one of the 4 preseason games, that's one less home game 2 other teams in the league will have.

This made sense in my head. But the London games are a neutral field "road" game for both teams. So I don't know. It's bs.

I guess i haven't done the math on it, but I would think they would be able to work it out so that no other teams are losing an extra home game. I could be wrong.

Aren't London games a home and away game for each team. Every year Jaguars lose a home game to play there correct?
IMO, London games should be considered road games for both teams. Why should teams lose home games to play somewhere else. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Its just kind of messed up in my opinion.

Just an unnecessary addition to an already unnecessary pre season schedule. Given our track record with injuries do we really need another opportunity for our players to get hurt? No starters or second stringers allowed. Maybe we could limit the roster for this game to UDFAs who we know we're going to cut in a few weeks. Thanks, Since '61

The roster is still huge at this point so if they can play the Rooks, and PS guys and get Hundley some extra snaps it's fine.

If Rodgers, et al play more than a series I will be shocked

Injuries can happen in games or practices. Just have a couple less practices and give the bubble boys a significant number of reps. Nothing better than game experience. One can use that to determine who should get a better shot in camp and the 4th preseason game. And it is in lieu of family night I assume, where injuries happened also...

So long as only the "B" team is on the field I don't care.
