Packers to Hire Matt LaFleur as Head Coach

The Green Bay Packers have made the first hire in the 2019 hiring cycle. 


According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter, the Packers are about to hire Titan's offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur as it's next head coach. LaFleur comes from the Mike Shanahan coaching tree, which produced current hotshot head coaches like the Rams' Sean McVay and the 49ers' Kyle Shanahan. 

LaFleur, 39, was an offensive assistant with Houston; quarterbacks coach with Washington and Atlanta; offensive coordinator with the Rams and Titans, and now HEAD C0ACH OF YOUR GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!


According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers are also expected to retain Defensive Coordinator Mike Pettine and his staff.

Good health will be the biggest aid to Cobb. He showed he is still a very good WR against Chi in game 1. Aka his 1 healthy game.
