The Packers picked up a much-needed victory Sunday with a 23-16 triumph in Chicago. At 5-4, Green Bay kept themselves squarely in the playoff hunt in the NFC, as Brett Hundley finally got off the schneid and the defense played well enough to win.

Here’s a look at who’s trending up and down as the Packers head into a very winnable game against the Ravens this Sunday:

Rising

Brett Hundley: While the overall picture wasn’t a masterpiece, Hundley’s two throws to Davante Adams late in the game certainly denote progress from the third-year quarterback. The first, a 19-yard touchdown, came on a perfectly placed ball with Hundley rolling to the right. He then hit Adams down the right sideline for 42 yards—a play that should have been the dagger—by dropping the ball precisely into Adams’ right arm. Obviously, the hope going forward is those two throws will give Hundley an extra shot of confidence to trust himself throwing downfield.

Nick Perry: With three sacks on the day, Perry looked every bit the player the Packers want and need him to be. Even if those sacks came against a rookie quarterback, the key is Perry finished on all three, which is something the Packers have struggled with this season. With the Ravens coming to town this week, Perry, and the rest of the team’s pass rushers, have a great opportunity to build on the performance in Chicago.

Davante Adams: At one point in the fourth quarter, Adams ran a slant and dropped a ball that hit him directly in the arms. Instead of letting that play become a lasting memory, Adams made up for it by essentially sealing the game later on. He made a great adjustment on his touchdown grab, and his talent came through on the one-handed catch late. Make no mistake, Adams is the number one receiver in this offense.

Jamaal Williams: The rookie, who began the year as the second man on the depth chart before falling out of the picture when Aaron Jones exploded onto the scene, answered the call nicely on Sunday. Filling in after Jones and Ty Montgomery both exited with injuries, Williams rushed for 67 yards on 20 carries. 55 of those yards came after contact, which speaks to the type of runner Williams strives to be. With Jones expected to be out a month or more, Williams will get more opportunities to show why the coaching staff thought so highly of him early in the season.

Falling

Justin Vogel: There’s really not much to say about Vogel other than he absolutely cannot afford to make mistakes like he did on the Packers’ last field goal attempt on Sunday. His bobble of the snap resulted in a miss, keeping Green Bay’s lead at seven rather than putting the game out of reach. While it may only be one play, those kinds of mistakes can cost you games, especially as you move deeper into the season.

Trevor Davis: If you’re a Madden player, you might want to check Davis’s awareness rating when the next roster update comes out. As much potential as he’s shown in the return game, his decision-making has been interesting at times, to say the least. Against the Bears, he fielded a punt in the end zone. In the end zone! It was a classic, “Have you ever seen that?” moment, and no, I’ve never seen that before. I’m sure the play was well-covered in Ron Zook’s special teams film review, and I’m sure Davis will think twice the next time the situation arises. If not, though, he’s not going to last as a returner.
