In another post, I said how I'd love to see Harvin returning punts and kicks for us.

Looking at his football reference page, I now see he doesn't return punts. Or, at least, hasn't. That surprises me.

No. Not a chance in hell. Percy is a disruptive arrogant prick. The opposite of "Packer people". I doubt he'd play in GB and I wouldn't want him to if he did.

He definitely has the reputation as a malcontent, but I'm honestly not all that familiar with any specifics. What has he done?

I don't know many specifics other than fighting with Golden Tate and not doing the things his coaches wanted him to do at times, but to me the smoking gun is that three teams, who each paid dearly for him, gave up on him quickly. I don't want him anywhere near GB.

Not to mention, you probably have to either get rid of Janis or Abbrederis to fit him in.

"...fighting with Golden Tate."

Tate is a douchebag. That's a plus in my book. ha

"... to me the smoking gun is that three teams, who each paid dearly for him, gave up on him quickly."

Yeah, that's fair. And teams with very thin WRs corps to boot.

Smoking gun is right. When a player has as much talent as Harvin, and can't stay on a team, it throws up a whole bunch of red flags.

As a Seattlite who listens to way too much AM sports radio, I can tell you many rumors persisted regarding Harvins locker room problems.

New England and Green Bay may be the two teams that could handle Harvin. For TT, it'd have to be low risk deal with Harvin. Very little guaranteed $ to allow TT to cut him loose as soon as an issue comes up. Knowing his next paycheck is not guaranteed may help keep him in line. And, the price would be more in line with a PR/KR specialist then a starting WR as the Packers don't need a WR but an elite KR/PR would be awesome. Someone will give him better money then that. Or, maybe TT is just driving up the price for Belicheck!

Then there is the fact that he doesnt really want to be the gaget guy anymore, hes looking for a more traditional WR role. Not sure if that means no KRs or not but its possible.

I would not be opposed to them signing him if they decided to but I dont have high hopes that it will happen.

I know I'm posting this under an unrelated article but...
I just saw that Mia traded Mike Wallace and his bloated contract to the Queens. Does this move spell the end of the Craig Jenkins saga in Minneapolis in the next 24hrs? I wonder what his sister has to say about all of this.

Yeah I know. My favorite Stanley play was the punt return at the end of the game against the Lions. He ran as many yards sideways as forward and scored to win the game.
