Packers Question of the Day: Expectations for Saturday?

It's going to be cold. Really cold.

The Packers will be playing in a rare Saturday game against the Minnesota Vikings without two of their biggest playmakers on offense - Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

Instead, Brett Hundley will be making his eighth start of the season as the Packers will try to play spoiler and prevent the Vikings from potentially clinching a first-round bye in the playoffs.

What are your expectations for Saturday?

I expect our defense to be so bad, MM fires Dom at half time.

I don't know what to expect.

But what I think happens:

-I think we will see more young players playing. I think they will use this time to evaluate some young players. I think we will see Allison, Davis, Clark more at WR. I think we will see Mays getting snaps. I think maybe one of the backup OL gets some playing time. Defense I think we will see Adams, and Biegel playing a lot more. I think Pipkins and Brown play too.

-I think this game maybe closer then what people think. When they played the Steelers no one gave them a chance to win, and they came close.

-Or else it will be a complete blowout loss.

I have zero expectations for this game and the rest of the year. Anything positive will be a welcomed bonus.

With expectations already in the garbage, season wise, and with opportunity to enhance our draft selection with every loss, I expect the Packers to pull out an upset over the Vikings via the run game...since that's all we have at this point.
GB 20-Minn 13.
Yes,the defense looks good via bad play of the Vikings to resurrect many fans denial of how bad they really are.

Honestly. I would be ok in beating the Vikings and hopefully ruining some of their playoff aspirations.

I would love to see the Packers help kill the Vikes' bid for a first round bye.

Thats honestly probably the best thing that we could hope for.

They crushed our dreams, so we crush theirs...

At least make them play 3 games, one of them NOT in the Twin Cities, to get to the SB.

Wouldn't that be great. Or else take out a player or 2 of theirs.

I don't ever root for injuries. And I don't think the Vikings will win the super bowl anyway. They're a legit threat this year, but they'll find a way to "Vikings" it up without dirty hits.

In a league geared toward offense and points, the Vikings have piled up their chips on the wrong side of the ball and play with a vanilla offense and a journeyman QB who's been playing way over his head. All it will take is a good defense and a dynamite offense to put that dog down in the playoffs...Rams, New Orleans. Carolina might bite them again. Maybe even Philly behind Foles. The candidates are there.

Packer Greg Says Min and Phil the 2 best teams in the NFC are playing with backup Quarterbacks. Looks like NE is a shoo in to win the SB.

most of it mine.

Pack run all over vikes.

Win a close one.

Draft position moved 4 spots, best player in draft (after 3 years in NFL) taken within 3 spots ahead of Pack.

There you go.

Expectations...
1. A Vikings team trying to secure home field throughout the playoffs ices this game by halftime.
2. Many of my fellow posters here at CHTV will rail on the Packers performance even though it's exactly what they've been asking for all week.

I expect the worst(?) opening drive defense to give up a td on the first drive. Packers hung with them in MN after Rodgers went out until it was clear Hundley couldn't score and got no help with the fumble.

I expect the packers to win unless they come out with no effort and emotion because there is nothing to play for, or rest the vets.

I expect to enjoy several Old Fashioneds and probably nachos. And not having to listen to Aikman & Buck call the game.

I expect victory. Between the cold and a Vikings hangover from their blowout win for the NFCN title last week the Viqueens will return to their inept ways. Packers new found running game will keep our defense off the field and provide the margin of victory.
The Packers defense will amaze the Vikings by actually having 11 men on the field thoroughly confusing Keemun and resulting in turnovers. Packers win 27-9. Thanks, Since ‘61

Come on Since '61, at least be real about it!
Unless you were trying to be facetious, but given it has no chance to happen, it can't even be humorous.
Queens stop the run, so Jones and Williams won't get going.
Sorry, but this is so outrageous, I had to comment.
The Packers are bad - really bad, especially defensively.
Now with Rodger gone, none of these guys have anything to play for.
I expect a significant Packer let down and an ugly game.

I expect and hope for a loss. If we finish 7-9, we could have a pick in the 14-19 range. Vikings have all to play for, we do not. Hundley will be running for his life.

It would be nice to see someone nail Anthony Barr though. While his hit was technically legal, someone else could also level a legal hit on him too.

Either a great display of pride and grit or a train wreck. Just hope for no serious injuries(other than a few Vikings), and the opportunity to see Mays, Adams etc show what they can do.

No idea how this team will play. They may play there asses off because the queens ruined there season. I expect Hundley to to a lot of running, maybe over 100 yards. Josh Jones lay some wood on queens receivers. My gut feeling is the D lays an egg because they know Capers must go.

Vikings win 31- 3.
Many fans booing, wasted timeouts, Viking receivers wide open, Hundley throwing the majority of his passes behind the line of scrimmage. Should be ugly and it will be fine in the long run.... If it leads to major changes in player personnel and GM, HC and DC
