Packers President Mark Murphy Named Fellow by Positive Coaching Alliance

Packers President, Mark Murphy, is one of 12 Positive Coaching Alliance Fellows for 2015.

The Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) names people who have used youth sports to help create "Better Athletes Better People" as Development Zone Leadership Fellows.

Murphy, a long-time member of PCA’s National Advisory Board, has been a driving force in the creation of videos and other materials that prevent sex-abuse in youth sports. The Packers helped finance production and Murphy appears in promotional and educational videos co-produced by PCA and KidpowerInternational, a leading non-profit teaching personal safety to all ages and abilities and protecting young people from bullying, violence, and abuse. PCA also honors Murphy for his role in developing an outstanding culture as athletic director at Northwestern University and with the Packers, who inspire millions of people worldwide – including those involved in youth and high school sports – to emulate the organization’s examples.
