Packers Podcast: Rough Day at the Office for Aaron Rodgers

The Packers quarterback threw an uncharacteristic 25 incompletions in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.

On Monday I joined Bart Winkler of K107 in Fond du Lac for our weekly Green Bay Packers game review. Following a 21-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills, we discuss the struggles of the Packers offense, in particular quarterback Aaron Rodgers who threw 25 incompletions and connected on just 40 percent of his passes. He wasn't helped by Jordy Nelson's drop of what could have been a 90-plus yard touchdown. We also get into the breakdowns on special teams and the solid play on the defensive side of the football.

The entire team never had there head in the game. MM stayed with his stubborn 'were running 30 yard pass plays' and not dropping off underneath never worked. All day it never worked.
Theres a saying, when you do the same thing over and over and expect a different result each time and fail...........

I was traveling and got spotty radio for the 3rd quarter. It was pretty good for the 4th quarter. Based on what I heard and the post game show, I'm not at all upset about missing the game.

The history of the Packers under McCarthys is that they throw out some ugly clunkers every once and a while. They usually follow it up by playing terrific the following week.

I won't go so far as to say I expected a loss in Buffalo but it's not all that surprising to me. It's a tough place to play and the Packers were coming off a short week. I will be very surprised if they don't win out from here to go 12-4 overall with the #2 seed.

A 3-0 playoff run at home, then away, then at the SB in Phoenix is still very doable in my eyes.
