First Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams captured attention with an impressive slam dunk he shared on social media, but the basketball connections don't stop there.

Packers linebacker Nate Palmer—an Illinois State product—was in attendance for his college's NIT basketball game Wednesday evening:

Interestingly enough, the team Illinois State met in the tournament was Green Bay.

Illinois State won 69-56 to advance to the second round.
