Over 40 Packers employees gathered for a full day of refurbishing a playground at a neighborhood park in Green Bay, including the club donating new equipment and staff members landscaping the area.

  • This past Saturday linebacker Clay Matthews acted as honorary chairman of AIDS Walk Wisconsin in Milwaukee, according to an article appearing in the Appleton Post Crescent:

AIDS Walk, a free 5K fundraiser at the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, is put on by the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, which helps raise money and provide resources for the more than 6,300 people with HIV or AIDS in the state.

  • The Packers, along with the NFL and the Wisconsin National Guard, donated $2,000 to the Oshkosh Lourdes High School football program as part of their High School Coach of the Week program.

JR Zemke of Oshkosh Lourdes High School has been named Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week, a program presented by the Wisconsin National Guard, the organization announced Wednesday.

  • U.S. Army captains Jarrad and Jill Glasenapp were honored before last week's Broncos game as part of the team's "Operation Fan Mail" program.

In addition to being recognized on-field prior to the game, selected families will receive four tickets to the game and a care package from WPS.
