Well we already knew THAT. I thought you were naming names!

nerdmann,
For a small fee I'll give you names. Not accurate names mind you, but names nonetheless.

I really wish I knew why this site no longer updates on my work computer. Whenever I google it or click over to it from my reader, the Bedard post is the most recent one.

Hyper - no doubt this is a residual issue from the server switch. I'll alert Corey and Wally to the problem.
March 25, 2010 at 02:15 am
Cool. Thanks. When I click new posts from my reader, I get a "page does not exist" message.

Hyper,
If you mean this Bedard post -

That's the first thing I see every time I come to CHTV. I just thought that was normal, I'm a total computer Nar-Nar.

Nah. I get the "A Plea of Tolerance from Bedard." That's the most recent post I can access from work.

I'm good at a few things, computers are not one of them. I sat in an Excel class all day today, wanted to shoot myself in the face; thankfully I was paid to do so.
March 25, 2010 at 03:45 pm
i think it's highly unethical that your employer has paid you to shoot yourself in the face.
and don't call me Shirley.

I've cleared my cache and everything - still nothing. Started Monday, I think. Maybe Friday.
March 25, 2010 at 12:08 am
The employer's trying to block you out. Does he wear much purple?
March 25, 2010 at 12:23 am
Never! Although there were a few purple #4s last season. Unbelievable. It took all my self control...

I read there's a good chance we may be playing the Jets Thanksgiving night (us or the queens), that would be cool.

Oh please be true! I would love to get out of turkey dinner at the in-laws on that one!
March 25, 2010 at 12:40 am
How far is the new stadium from where you're at Jersey?
March 25, 2010 at 12:42 am
Not cool Jersey... not cool
March 25, 2010 at 01:06 am
HAHA! Too funny! Please...they know I`m a rabid Packers fan and my father in law would probably join me anyway seeing he is a Jets fan.
But you know what would get more TV ratings for the NFL?
A Queens/Jets matchup

Being surrounded by Jet and Eagle fans must suck (to be sure), at least they're not division rivals though. Thank your lucky stars you weren't raised wearing a Majkowski jersey in Sterling Illinois (A.K.A. bayur central).
I'm not proud to admit it, but I have got into more fist fights than I can count growing up because I was raised right (rep'n the GBP that is). Not easy being a 7th grader wearing the G & G while being encompassed by the... what are the beighurs colors again???
Hell, what don't kill ya only makes ya stronger... TRUE, SO TRUE.
Take 'er sleazy Jerz...

P.S. - I will NEVER show the team from Chicago the respect of spelling their name correctly. So while anybody that has ever read my posts can claim I'm missing a chromosome or 7... the spelling of "duh quears" is purely intentional.
WOOT
March 25, 2010 at 12:50 am
I am about hour and half away from the new stadium. I plan on going to both the Jets and Eagles games this year.
March 25, 2010 at 01:22 am
Very cool.
I've never been to an East Coast game... YET.
Been to a couple out here on the West side... crickets. Didn't even get booed (it's astonishing how accommodating Seahawk fans are).
Not that I was looking' to get cracked in the jaw, but if I put forth the effort to rep the GBP from head to toe and walk into "YOUR HOUSE"... I expect to at least get booed a little. West Coast fans are pretty weak.
Doubt I'd run into that problem in Philly.
March 25, 2010 at 01:23 am
Oops, forgot to change my name back
March 25, 2010 at 03:05 am
I look at it like this. I live in a part of Jersey where I`m surrounded by Jets and Eagles fans and I have learned to just deal with them. So going to their house for a game does not bother me one bit.
March 25, 2010 at 10:27 am
I plan on going to both those games as well, plus the pats game. Never been to a Packer game at Giants stadium. Been to a 9ers-Giants game wearing green and gold while my girlfriend had 9ers gear on and I got harassed MUCH more then she did. Should be fun...
March 25, 2010 at 12:35 am
Maybe CHTV should whip a contest together and see who can get predict all 7 rounds correctly. What do you say guys?
March 25, 2010 at 12:36 am
I'm in.
Anyone got that Chicago kid's phone number?
March 25, 2010 at 12:38 am
Count me in.

Just fyi on the issues some are having with the site - Corey and Wally are working on it. Something to do with DNS service at people's places of employment...

Packers with their first pick choose an Offensive lineman
Packers with their second pick choose an Offensive lineman
Rest of the draft best available.
On defense our second year players will make up the difference that was lacking last year, and I still would love to be pleasantly surprised by Justin Harrell making an impact this year.
IMO with out significantly addressing the O-line by more than one player, we go as far as the health and well being of Clifton and Tauscher. I love those guys by what they have done over their careers, I just don't see both of them making it all 19 to 20 games.
March 25, 2010 at 05:21 pm
I'll dip my toe in the water (I'm assuming no trades and that probably wont happen) drum roll please:
To begin there are several things that TT does not do, first is draft CB's who are under 6ft, that eliminates all of the top CB's this year. Next is he figures out talent tranches. The first tranch in this NFL draft seems to be around 20, making it likely that TT trades down unless somebody falls. Here we go the first pick is who I would like, the second pick is the more likely to be available pick:
23: OT Bryan Bulaga or OG Mike Iupati
56: OLB Jerry Hughes or CB Chris Cook
86: QB Tim Tebow or S Major Wright
123: OT Selvish Capers or WR Jacoby Ford
154: RB Charles Scott or S Larry Asante
169: DE Brandon Deaderick or OG Dace Richardson
192: TE Tony Moeaki or OT Derek Hardman
230: WR Brandon James or WR Brandon James
My guess is I hit on Zero of 16 picks. This was worth my time.
