Packers Calendar: Waiting for Official Prognosis on Aaron Rodgers

Reports say Aaron Rodgers has a broken collarbone, but the Packers organization has yet to confirm the diagnosis.

A report from ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday morning lines up with one from Bears radio sideline reporter Zach Zaidman last night saying that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a broken collarbone.

The Packers organization, however, is doing their due diligence, waiting for more tests to take place Tuesday.

"They want to run more tests," Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said after the game. "An exact diagnosis has not been given. No timeline."

ESPN's Ed Werder is saying swelling inhibited the initial diagnosis and that Rodgers will have an MRI today.

Rodgers would typically appear on his Tuesday afternoon weekly radio show "Tuesdays with Aaron,"  aired on the ESPN Radio affiliate in Milwaukee, 540 AM at 1:30 p.m. and streamed live online at ESPNWisconsin.com, although the outlet is apparently in waiting mode with Rodgers given his injury, according to the station's Alex Petakas.

If aired, it will be replayed on 100.5 FM in Madison at 5:00 p.m.

Offensive lineman Josh Sitton will be the guest on the Mike McCarthy Show that airs on several television markets in Wisconsin and the Midwest on Tuesday evening.

The Mike McCarthy Show airs at 6:30 p.m. CT on WGBA Ch. 26 in Green Bay and WTMJ Ch. 4 in Milwaukee. Complete listings can be found on the team's official website.

The Packers coach will record his weekly Mike McCarthy Show at 4:00 p.m. inside Lambeau Field on the 4th Floor Associated Bank Club level in front of a studio audience.

Following the airing of his show, McCarthy will have his weekly day-after-game press conference streamed live on the team's official website at 4:45 p.m. CT, when perhaps McCarthy will share more information on Rodgers' injury.

Also inside Lambeau Field is Packers Live with Larry McCarren, which is also shot in front of a live studio audience inside the Legends Club at 6:30 p.m. Safety Morgan Burnett is the guest.

Packers Live is shown on a statewide network of seven stations, including NBC26 in Green Bay and TMJ4 in Milwaukee. Complete listings can be found on the Packers official website.

At 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Inside the Huddle airs on Fox 11 in Green Bay, hosted by wide receiver Randall Cobb, according to the show's Facebook page.

Inside the Huddle appears on a statewide network of television stations on other days of the week with the entire schedule listed at LammiSports.com. It is recorded in front of a live audience at The Bar in Green Bay.

Player guests on local radio on Tuesday include punter Tim Masthay on The Fifth Quarter from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Screamin' Head Buzz in Green Bay, and can be heard on WTAQ 1360 AM and streamed live on WTAQ.com.

Offensive lineman T.J. Lang hosts Tundra Talk on 105.7 FM WAPL in Appleton at 5:00 p.m. and streamed online at WAPL.com, assuming his injury on Monday doesn't prevent him from doing so.

Defensive lineman Johnny Jolly is signing autographs at Game Day Sports Bar in Appleton from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

And cornerback Sam Shields is signing autographs at Legends of the Field in Mequon, Wis. from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

I guessed a cracked, not fractured collar bone last night based on MM's presser. When they need to take more pictures its to evaluate one set of x rays against a second set taken later to determine the extent of the break.

Sounds like he has a cracked collar bone that could heal in three to four weeks. Too bad our pourous non existant defensive back play won't heal in that time. Their play last night would be inexcusable, but thats who they are. These guys have zero talent. But they came cheap.

By the fact that A-Rod jogged off the field swinging both arms, not in acute distress or pain and later returned to the sidelines not wearing a sling - would speculate that a fracture/crack would be more likely than a complete break. Best case scenario could be a deep tissue bruise. Was also on his none throwing arm/shoulder so that is at least a positive.

I see 3 weeks being thrown around the web this AM by some sources (ESPN). That would mean a "possible" return against the Lions on T-Day. Not sure though if we can win any games in the meantime with Wallace and our stellar defense holding down the fort.

I saw an article last week about Favre having a memory loss issue. I doubt seriously if there is any consideration other than a cheap PR move. That's not TTs style though.
