Packers Calendar: Rally in San Diego Tonight

Today is a travel day for the Green Bay Packers who typically fly out for road games around 1:00 p.m. Central time.

This evening there is a rally in San Diego for Packers fans at The BeachWood at 4190 Mission Blvd. from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pacific time.

Team president Mark Murphy will be in attendance. Announcer Wayne Larrivee will take part in a Q&A session with writers. And former players John Brockington, Willie Buchanon and Michael Douglass will be there as well.

Back in Wisconsin, Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds, Inc. is hosting their Celebrity Chef & Wine Dinner as a fundraiser for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics in eastern Wisconsin.

The evening will include a gourmet dinner and wine pairings along with an auction for charity.

I believe Rodgers' brother is a bar-tender there too.

I am in San Diego for the game but am staying with Chargers fans.
Darn the luck. No chance of getting them to a Packers rally.

My daughter went, she said it was insane! Line out the door, maybe a thousand people there, she did bump into Mark Murphy though.
We will be at the game on Sunday, can't wait!
