Packers Calendar: Preseason Finale at Kansas City Chiefs

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT with the game being televised on 14 stations in the Packers TV Network.

It's time for the loved and loathed final preseason game of the 2013 season as the Green Bay Packers travel to the Kansas City Chiefs with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT.

The game is loathed because the starters barely play, if at all, and the quality of football is visibly poor. But at the same time, it's also loved because the last preseason games means the regular season is almost here, and there's players fighting for their lives with roster cutdowns looming on Saturday.

Packers fans will see some familiar faces on Thursday with the Chiefs being headed by a pair of former Packers: ex-front office executive John Dorsey is now Kansas City's general manager and former assistant coach Andy Reid is the new head coach.

Thursday's game will be televised on the Packers Television Network of 14 stations throughout part of the Midwest and Hawaii. As usual, Rich Gannon (color commentary) and Kevin Harlan (play-by-play) will call the action, and Rod Burks will be the sideline reporter.

The game can also be heard on the 50-station Packers Radio Network with Larry McCarren (color) and Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) describing the play on the field.

As has been the case for much of the preseason, subscribers of Time Warner Cable customers in Green Bay and Milwaukee will not be able to see the game on NBC affiliates, although it can be viewed in Spanish language on Telemundo Wisconsin with Andy Olivares doing play-by-play and Kevin Holden providing color.

Out of market viewers can see the game streamed live on NFL.com's Preseason Live package for $14.99, which includes every exhibition game in the entire NFL.

After the game, the press conferences by head coach Mike McCarthy is typically streamed live on the Packers' official website at Packers.com.

There's plenty of roster spots on the line this evening. Enjoy the game.
