Packers Calendar: Last Day for T.J. Lang to Practice This Week

Friday is the last opportunity for Lang to take part in on-field preparations for the Eagles after suffering a concussion in the Packers' last game.

The Green Bay Packers have their final day of on-field preparations Friday in advance of Sunday's game with the Philadelphia Eagles and the team is waiting to know if offensive lineman T.J. Lang will be present and participating.

In a story that's flown under the radar in the wake of news surrounding the quarterback position, Lang has been out ever since sustaining a concussion this past Monday night in the game against the Chicago Bears and is in danger of missing the Week 11 game this weekend.

The Packers would probably be comfortable playing Lang on Sunday even if he doesn't practice just because of his experience, but sitting on the sidelines won't aid in his preparation.

More than likely, Don Barclay will slide over to right guard if Lang can't go, but there's several offensive line combinations the Packers could decide to go with.

Other injury issues the Packers are dealing with include Ryan Pickett (knee) and Andy Mulumba (ankle) as they'll be looking to go from limited participation to full on Friday in a best-case scenario. The team will list its Friday injury report and game day status projections in the afternoon.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will address the media in a press conference to be streamed live on the Packers official website at 12:30 p.m. CT.

Also on Friday, a blood drive is being held by the American Red Cross from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Legends Club room at Lambeau Field.

All presenting donors will receive a giveaway item and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes. All blood types are needed, especially types O negative, A negative and B negative.

And former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver will be a guest host on ABC's The View at 10:00 a.m. CT:

Sorry DD, even you hosting couldn't get me to watch The View!

I'm very curious to see if Sherrod gets any playing time. He's about as unknown a commodity as we have right now as far as how he'll be able to perform in a game situation. And we can't afford to get anymore QB's hurt, and need a strong run game to take the pressure off.
