Packers Calendar: Final Training Camp Practice

Wednesday is the final day to see the Packers practice until next season.

The final opportunity to see the Green Bay Packers practice until next spring occurs Wednesday.

Taking place at 10:15 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field, the last training camp practice of the season occurs before the Packers trim their roster to 53 players on Saturday and get ready for the start of the regular season.

Wednesday will be the first practice since the team trimmed their roster size to the mandated 75 players on Tuesday, placing six players on injured reserve.

The final training camp practice figures to be a short affair as it takes place the day before a game with the Packers prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the preseason finale on Thursday.

For those attending practice, the weather forecast has in store temperatures in the mix-sixties and no chance of precipitation, according to The Weather Channel.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will not have a post-practice press conference, however, general manager Ted Thompson will have his final press conference of training camp prior to practice.

Streamed live on Packers.com, Thompson will meet the media at 9:15 a.m. CT.

Among the storylines Thompson will be asked to address likely include how the Packers will respond to the recent rash of injuries, B.J. Raji and J.C. Tretter among them.
