Packers Calendar: Family Night Televised and Streamed Online

Television coverage starts at 6:00 p.m. CT on Fox affiliates in Wisconsin with streaming video starting at 6:30 p.m. at Fox11Online.com.

The annual intra-squad scrimmage known as Family Night takes place Saturday evening at Lambeau Field with coverage starting at 6:00 p.m. CT.

For those who can't attend the event in-person, Fox affiliates across the state of Wisconsin will televised the event, along with streaming video at Fox11Online.com beginning at 6:30 p.m. when on-field football drills start.

For those attending in-person, the parking lot opens at 11:00 a.m. at Lambeau Field, and there will be no shortage of activities in addition to the scrimmage that gets underway at 7:30 p.m.

The Packers are reminding fans that for the first time with such a large crowd, the new NFL security policies will be enforced. Only clutch bags will be allowed and seat cushions with pockets will be prohibited. Seating pads are allowed.

The Kemps Packers Experience returns this year in the Tundra Tailgate Zone with a wide array of inflatable games. It will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday and close at 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Copps–Pick ‘N Save Family Night Picnic, will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Lambeau Field’s east-side parking lot. The evening will feature other activities for the younger fans, including sidewalk chalk and airbrush tattoos.

The Fan Walkway area, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is located along the sidewalk from Oneida Street to the Oneida Nation Gate on Lambeau Field’s east side, will feature Packers displays for fans to enjoy, and a display of animals from the Wildlife Sanctuary.

Students from the Milwaukee School of Engineering will be at Lambeau Field beginning today to construct a replica of Lambeau Field made out of more than 130,000 Legos. The replica will be finished in time for Family Night and will be displayed in the Atrium from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Packers, Edvest and the Salvation Army are teaming up to host a school supply drive during Family Night to help local children and families in need. School supplies will be collected at the Lambeau Field parking lot entrances, and a Salvation Army kettle will be placed at each collection point for cash donations, as well. All supplies will be donated to the Salvation Army “Tools for Schools” program and the Back to School Store.

Other activities include the popular Chili’s “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion with approximately 20 jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the just-completed scrimmage – to be given away in a random drawing; and the spectacular Copps–Pick ‘N Save Fireworks Show to conclude the night.

Meanwhile out in Canton, Oh., former Packers linebacker Dave Robinson is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday evening.

A grand parade takes place in Canton at 8:00 a.m., but the day's big event takes place at Fawcett Stadium at 7:00 p.m. ET for the enshrinement ceremony. Television coverage will take place on both the NFL Network and ESPN2.
