Packers Calendar: College Football All-Star Games

The East-West Shrine Game, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and Raycom College Football All-Star Classic all take place on Saturday.

There will be few if any Packers scouts or personnel types in attendance at the three college all-star games taking place on Saturday, but you can bet they'll be watching the game or watching film.

So while there's no NFL football this Saturday for the first time since the playoffs began, there's plenty of opportunities to watch future NFL players in an all-star game setting.

The action gets kicked off at 2 p.m. Central time on the CBS Sports Network with the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic being held in Montgomery, Ala., the least prestigious of the three games being played on Saturday but still with a few intriguing prospects.

At 3 p.m., the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla. kicks off on the NFL Network. The Shrine Game is where the best prospects are this week, and where general manager Ted Thompson spent some time Monday through Thursday checking out practice.

Finally at 5 p.m., the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, Cal. gets underway at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. The game features Aaron Rodgers' brother, Jordan Rodgers, a quarterback at Vanderbilt University who's looking to follow in his brother's footsteps and play in the NFL.
