Packers Calendar: Charles Woodson Returns to Green Bay

The Charles Woodson Golf Outing takes place on Friday at Thornberry Creek at Oneida.

Charles Woodson may have left the Green Bay Packers in free agency, but he's scheduled to make a return to Titletown on Friday for his annual golf outing.

The now Oakland Raiders defensive back is hosting the Charles Woodson Golf Outing at Thornberry Creek at Oneida, according to website for TwentyFour Wines, Woodson's own wine label.

Registration is required to participate in the event and includes 18 holes of golf and cart, a gift bag and lunch.

Following the golf, there will be a cocktail hour from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. along with dinner and awards.

Also on Friday, NBC Sports is televising the first round of the American Century Championship golf tournament being held in Stateline, Nev.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and linebacker A.J. Hawk, along with former Packers wide receiver and current ESPN broadcaster Sterling Sharpe are all invited to participate in the event.

Play begins at 8:30 a.m. local time, but NBC Sports' coverage airs from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. CT.

Rodgers has been paired with NBA players Stephen Curry and Ray Allen for first-round play, while Hawk is paired with another former NFC North linebacker Brian Urlacher, along with NBC broadcaster Rodney Harrison.

Sharpe will play with former MLB players Brett Saberhagen and Troy Glaus.
