INDIANAPOLIS––In front of standing-room only crowd at the NFL Combine, Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o said the Green Bay Packers were one of the first two teams he's met with thus far.

"I've met with the Texans, and I've met with the Packers so far," said Te'o.

Te'o also said he has 18 more formal meetings with teams before the Combine is over.

I hope they don't draft this guy. Alabama ate him up and made him a non factor. We already have a non factor MLB named Hawk!

I was thinking the same thing.

The real Manti Teo hoax was convincing people he could play!

I don't think it is a fair evaluation based on one game. He's a young guy that was dealing with an enormous amount of media pressure at that time. You should look at his body of work that made him a Heisman finalist.

I think that he would look good in green and gold.

Te'o was a Heisman finalist based on playing average to slightly above average running games. Against teams with strong running attacks he disappeared. Against Stanford, Pitt, and BYU he was not even a factor. Alabama just further exposed his weakness as a run defender on a national stage. Te'o is a 3rd down nickel linebacker at best. You don't spend 1st round picks on situational linebackers.

Ted must have seen something in him or wouldn't be talking to him. Or it could just be a smokescreen. I guess time will tell.
