Packers Andy Mulumba Out For The Season
Packers Coach Mike McCarthy spoke of Andy Mulumba's injured leg on Tuesday calling it significant; Wednesday's test results confirmed the worst.
Mulumba took to his verified twitter today to announce the results.
1/2 Unfortunately, My ACL injury was confirmed this morning, and it's just one of those bumps on the road! Nothing that I can't overcome!

2/2 prayers, hard work, dedication, family and love for this game will help me comeback better than before!! #mindset

And McCarthy confirmed the prognosis when speaking with the press.

Too bad for Mulumba. I was hoping he would get a chance to show something this year. Not sure who we should promote from the PS. Rolle maybe as he is probably the best player and there seems to be a quad issue with Hayward who just hasn't looked like the same guys as 2012. Hopefully Elliott will get to see the field on game day. He may add some juice to the pass rush.

Pay him off and get rid of him. Can't help the team on the bench. Huh Micah?

Yeah, AP.
Speaking of which, tell us again about how the three best RBs in the league are on the Minnesota roster. I love that story.
And did you make it to the game Sunday? You had the Vikes by 10 because of their tough defense, right? Wow, that had to sting. (Get it? Sting?). It's like the Pats walked into the stadium, stuffed leaves in the Vikes' mouths, and whipped them with sticks. Ouch! That will leave a mark, I bet.

Actually, the Patriots just beat them with a paddle and the Vikings thanked them afterwords.

Well another season ending soft tissue injury. They are really on the rise. Getting rid of the hitting in Training Camp and OTA's has backfired big time.
As a Martial Artist it no surprise to me this is happening. There is no way I would gone into a tournament without having been hit in training, and I mean hit hard. There is an very old saying, "Cry in training, laugh on the battlefield".

This is to bad. I really liked Mulumba. Hopefully he can come back next year.
I do wonder what they will do with the extra roster spot now.
Do they bring someone up from the PS, do they sign a free agent, what position do they look to add help. I am curious to see what they do.

Does anyone know what's up with alan branch? 6-6 330 we could use another big boy on the dline. I'd like to think he could be just a little better than guion in the 4-3/3-4 split role. He would be a great compliment to Daniels in the 4-3.
