Good that there's a bye right in the middle of the schedule. There's not a really though stretch of games also.

Very favorable schedule. @ Houston and @ NY the 2 biggest challenges. 14-2.

If the defense performs like in 2010, 16-0 in the regular season.

Yeah, I really dig the schedule! Even the three game road trip isn't that bad as far as travel and opponent. Pumped!

I guess playing the Saints on a short week kinda sucks, but all things considered... Good schedule.

Saints will still have their interim interim coach, and will probably be without a handful of players.

I don't see it as one of the thoughest games.

Yeah, I think they're going be in turmoil for a while. A collection of assistant coaches handling head coaching duties, plus some key suspended (probably) players.

I don't know, the first four games look pretty tough to me. Yes there's 3 home games but they're all losable. The 49ers won 13 games last year (a lot of them on the road) and shouldn't be taken lightly, the bears always play us tough, and the saints could easily beat us (they almost did last year). Plus the one road game we have is in Seattle, one of the hardest places to play for a prime time game. You know their crowd going to be jacked for that. Not to mention there isn't a normal (7 day) week in there. We play the 49ers week one, then have to play da bears on a short 5 day week. We then get an extra long week, 11 days, until the Seahawks game. That's almost like an extra bye. Then we're on another short week going up against the hardest team on our schedule (IMO), the saints. I could easily see us going 2-2 or 1-3 for that stretch and getting the season off to a bad start.

Don't worry about Seattle. Fitz and I have it covered.

First three are tough, but IMO we come out at least 2-1, if not 3-0.

at Texans and at Detroit are the toughest remaining games. IMO NYG will be out of it by then anyway. (I think Philly rights the ship and Dallas is more competitive this year).

Every game is certainly winnable Anything less that 12-4 would be disappointing.

11-5. We'll split with lions and bears, have one stupid loss, and take two outa four with sf, no, nyg, hous.

I AGREE 100%. We always have 1 stupid loss, i think this team will be a better overall team than the 15-1 last year. Defense can only improve. Offense will be great. we will have 11 or 12 wins but be a better overall team.

I think the Bears are over-rated. Marshall as a big quick receiver has been difficult for the Packers to deal with in the past, but if the defense improves their pass pressure capabilities Cutler will be more adversly impacted than Marshall will help. With this schedule the health of the overall team in late November and December is going to be crucial. Go with 12-4 +/- 4. One thing though about this schedule, the Packers should be ready for the play-offs after their December games!

The Saints on a short week sucks, but playing a highly motivated Bears team on an even shorter week (Thursday night football for week 2) sucks even more, even if it is at home...

Kind of surprised the Packers don't have a single noon game in the first quarter of the season.

Not a single Packers game on any Holiday this year (from what I can tell) and have Veterans Day off. Guess that makes up for every Holiday game we got last year.

Seems to have more division match-ups in the last half the season than normal. Goes to show that they see the NFC north duking it out until the very end.

Some real quality match-ups for primetime, though. Real excited.

I don't like San Fran and New Orleans getting a pass on the Green Bay weather.

N.O. yes. S.F. No. They're are running team. GB gets a distinct advantage through the air in the opener.

Agreed. I don't think it would matter against New Orleans either way, but I feel like the warmer weather gives us an advantage against San Fran.

I'm glad, we are a warm weather team. San Fran in lambeau cold would almost assuredly be a loss.

According to NFL network, the Packers have the second easiest schedule in 2012...New England has the easiest.

Based on last year's records, and it's because we get the Colts and Rams plus the Vikes twice. All three will be better teams this year, and the Jags and Cards could be much improved, so the ranking is BS.

Another reason not to credit any talk you hear about us having one of the easiest schedules --

We were 15-1 last year. There's 13 teams out there that have our gaudy record jacking up their SOS - especially the NFC North.

I'm not thrilled about a 3-game road trip, but at least 2 of those 3 games are really, really winnable.

We better have our cold-weather game together, with 5 straight late-season, outdoor games in weeks 12 through 16.

It's all good, though. If we can fix the defense, it doesn't matter what the schedule holds. On to #14!

anything less than 11-5 is unacceptable. see us going 13-3 lose a game to either the lions or bears. houston is tough as r the giants. but we could easily go undefeated if we play our game.

Bear Packer Thursday Night...every Thursday night a game-uggh...our cable in Chicago doesn't get bribed to carry NFL network.... IMHO the NFL is becoming one big ugly money squeezing, commercial playing, hype making, non- tackling, well orchestrated farce.

But whadaya gonna do? Ya watch the games, buy the beer, and post on CHTV.
