I don't think he is running the show like others do. No Russ ball is the money manager who controls the purse strings and what gutt of Ted could and couldn't do player acquisition wise, trade wise, draft wise.
He has his hands on the total operation. Our gm's are merely go betweens the coaches and Ball.
Thinking like this makes everything else make sense. Rarely do we go out quickly and fill a need like other teams. Purse strings baby.

You're wrong, every decision goes back to Murphy. Ball doesn't have any more authority than Gutekunst or McCarthy.

Not saying the current management structure is a good thing or a bad thing, just saying it is what it is right now,

He’s doing real good I think....everything from handling the draft to trying to bring in guys. Cutting loses before they get out of control.. and his public speaking doesn’t want to make you sleep all day
