Getting only a 4 for Dix is just dumping his future salary. Did not care for his play personally but he was a one pick and GB spent a lot of capital coaching him up and got little in return.
My take has always been the Viikes and other teams model: have a problem, fix it, fix it right. Translates, bundle what ever picks you can to move down in the first round and get people who will fill a void at the pro bowl level for many years. Like Smith a bone crushing tackler and cover guy who has been pro bowl many years and in service many years. They got a lot out of him. They moved down to get him. Solved problem.

Ted sat back, did not move, relied like hell on a lot of late round picks to save the team money. He was loved by the brass for doing that. Dix fixed nothing, Randall fixed nothing.
