Howabout an article about, Which our players gives the best/worst value per dollar?

I believe what is deemed special is lower/different in GB than other places. Which is seen through the high inconsistency of play as a team and individual player.

I'm not sure how you can objectively say this but ok...

If Williams being "special" as a pass blocker is what your ragging on:

This is as a rookie nonetheless.

' Special ' is subjective and all these sport analytic sites are like political polls but at least mention there's a plus/minus number to being right/wrong thus allowing you to decide which you desire to be more true.
Every player on the Packers is at some time described as ' special ' which lowers the bar of what is special.
How many times have you heard MM use the word calculator stops working when I try to add these numbers.

By who? I also think it's pretty clear to see if a running back blows pass blocking or not.

So do you think Williams is a "special" pass blocker?

Tarynfor12's picture

I think he's good....will he be consistent weekly to a certain level or will he miss on a crucial play here and there. Special cannot miss on must block scenarios...let's revisit down the road.

Most of the time I’m pretty open to your comments Taryn, but you’re being absurd in this thread. Special means they can’t miss? There have been a lot of special players in this league who have missed assignments at critical times once in a while. I mean come on....arguing and being negative just to argue and be negative is old.

"There have been a lot of special players in this league who have missed assignments at critical times once in a while "

Never said he can't miss ever.

Williams has a small area to cover and his assignments are more singular/focused. So saying special is to easy to apply and if a missed block on the few he may be challenged with cannot become many or weekly. If he does, he becomes closer to fingers cross hope he does, than surely will, as to pass blocking/protection.
Just too soon to say special.
