I know it is a little early but the formula is and will always be, win your next game, secure a wild card spot, win your division, secure a 1st round bye and secure a buy through out the playoffs. If you try to jump ahead it is all speculation and you get nothing but headaches.

Now for not making a move at the trade deadline. You almost never get a bargain or you wind up getting someones problem. Your capital is much better spent at the end of the season with all the coaching changes, teams are trying to sign their free agents and getting ready for the draft.

Where should you start shopping? Well currently in the NFL there are five top ten defenses with less than twenty million in 2020 salary cap two less than ten million and with 40 or less players signed for the next year, two with only 36. Three of theses seriously need a quarterback upgrade. Middle Linebacker I admit is somewhat of a problem, but get another horse in the middle and that will make anyone look good.

It is so refreshing to know there is enough leadership on this team that the Cleveland disaster could never happen to us. I mean really, the game was won and the guy was still trying to get a garbage sack just to pad his stats. Our veterans would never let that happen. Just win baby.
