Perhaps it was just me, but Murphy needs work on his presentation skills. Talk about a long drawn out and often times incoherent explanation of the recruiting process. Reminded me of the boring and totally mindless Oscar award acceptance speeches.

I agree with you. Mark Murphy was talking to much and should have allowed more time for Matt LaFleur to answer questions and present himself to the media. I think Matt did do a great job with the time he did have. His answers were honest, to the point, and sincere. His vision for the future for the Packers is honorable and exciting. I like the new coach so far. Lets hope he can get the team as excited about winning again as Matt is about the opportunity to turn the team around. I wish him nothing but the best.

I agree 100%. Not sure why Murphy tried to make it all about himself, but I thought LaFleur and Gutekunst handled themselves very well in a stressful situation.

The bottom line is that nobody on the planet can predict how LaFleur will do as head coach. We just have to trust the process and believe that they made the best decision they could with all the resources they had at their disposal.
