49ers have been holding ,grabbing all year. It was finally nice to see an officiating crew call them on their BS. They were talking all that shit and ran into a complete buzzsaw in philly. The bullies got bullied. I call that football Karma. The chiefs get a lot of calls as well. I can say with 98% certainty that they are not beating Philly. I hope Biscacilla stays. The packers should give him whatever he wants. When you build through the draft…you need to hold good coaches. Personally, I don’t think anyone wants to play with Rodgers….except Cobb, Crosby and Bak. A far as a SB. No, not with Rodgers. All the SB teams , playoff teams built their teams around the QB. The 49rs….Great team, mediocre QB, Philly, great team but Hurts is not an AR , a Brady or a Manning. Mahomes is the exception to all this, but they are not making it past Philly…That TEAM is just too good and too stout in all areas. But back to Rodgers…he complained about MVS, the eye rolls, the antics….but Mahomes has absolutely not problem with MVS. The McCarthy style offense we saw this year….that’s all AR and a coach that doesn’t have the balls to make him play a Shanahan system. My point, you build a team where you don’t have to rely on your QB making miracle plays. Rodgers doesn’t have the miracles left. Changes will still need to be made along the OL…if you have to rely on Lewis’s stellar blocking to have an OL function…that means there are weaknesses on the OL. And this is going to be what Lewis’ 19th season??? it’s time to move on. Green bay has been rebuilding….everywhere except the QB . TE and another bulldozer like Clark is needed as well. Jones going into year 7 or 8….you need to draft a good RB especially with injury potential. I already know Dillon is good…he’s wide open and Rodgers throws it at his feet. He’s a good pounding RB that….with the right OL can really punish Good Ds.They need to poach a scout from a more successful team. Crosby can’t kick it to the back of the end zone on kick offs…time to move on.

Stouter OL to run it down other teams throat. Strong Dl shutting down others run. #1 Vet WR who moves the chains and an Excellent TE to go with what we have.

The path to the sb is easy Andy. Those that want to can buy tickets and attend. There is zero chance this team can get there. They will be fighting to avoid the cellar in the NFC north. Just not enough talent on this team.

Personally, I think we're two or three years from winning a Super Bowl. Once the players we draft from AR12 and Aaron Jones trades are 2nd year players, we'll be just about there though. : )

If by chance we did trade AR12 for the Jets #13th and #43 pick this year. It would go a long way to solidifying an already decent roster.

Add in whatever we can get for Aaron Jones with our own original picks and we can retool the roster into a real Super Bowl contender. If we don't trade Aaron Rodgers, I feel we're even farther from the goal than we perceive we are today.

Quotes after the players names and positions are from NFLDRAFTBUZZ.com

List of draft picks were projected by Pro Football Network...

#13 Broderick Jones OT - Broderick Jones is probably the best athlete in the entire offensive line class...

#15 Andre Carter II OLB - Andre Carter II is an incredible athlete with a massive wing span, elite agility...

#43 Darnell Washington TE - A powerful open-field runner with agility, quickness, and a decent stiff-arm...

#45 Rashee Rice WR - He’s a fluid athlete with excellent short-area quickness... 4.36 - 40

#78 Zach Charbonnet RB - He has ideal size for the position combined with great speed and a powerful running style...

#113 Ronnie Hickman S - Has the fluid athleticism and speed to cover tight ends and maybe even some big slot receivers...

#146 Ochaun Mathis OLBer - His spin move is already NFL-caliber, and Mathis displays a very good motor...

#201 Joe Tippmann C - He’ll consistently finish blocks...

#210 Jalen Graham S - 6' 3" 224 lbs. A consistently heavy hitter who flashes explosiveness and the ability to separate the ball...

#216 Josh Whyle TE - 6' 6" 250 lbs. 4.65 - 40 Varies the speed of his route, using hesitation and shoulder fakes to get the defender guessing...

We can argue who to take all day long, but if Gutey drafts as well as he did last year, we could be right back in the hunt in a couple years, IMO.

That's all true. GB can always start a rebuild and lose a lot of games.

By running it back, we can get to see how GB handles $68M in dead money on AR's deal, and all of the max restructures on literally everyone, which you didn't really deal with.

Running it back means perhaps GB can't trade AR for used chewing gum. Possibly no picks to jump start a rebuild.

Running it back is futility buying guaranteed future irrelevance for longer.

If GB tries to run it back again, that is unacceptable. Might as well have a Class Action Lawsuit against the FO.

I don't see how the FO can do anything but move on. I'm sure Rodgers wants to move on...

I'm sorry, I'm to the point where I think the Packers would have to trade AR to even think about a Super Bowl next year. The draft picks would have to be home runs and Jordan Love would have to play much like Purdy did in his 7 game win streak. Play within the system and take what the defense gives him.

Coaching staff would need to step up from crap to amazing for even a chance at a Super Bowl run. I think he's over-valuing some of our older players and expecting them to be so much better without changing defensive coaching philosophy is unrealistic.

When it comes down to the last 4 minutes of the NFCCG, I wouldn't expect the coaching or AR12 to magically have answers they've not been able to come up with since 2011...

Personally, I think trading AR12 and using those draft picks wisely, we'd have a better chance at a Super Bowl than trying to run it back with AR12 at QB. But I think that opportunity would come in '24 or '25, not next year.

Even if everything talked about came to fruition, I don't see this coaching staff making the right calls at crunch time.

The worst part about running it back would be if the worst were to happen anyway. We keep Rodgers, push all that money into the future, and then AR12 goes down with an injury.

We're stuck with the same scenario as trading him, but without the cap relief, without the draft picks, and no way to really improve the team except through the draft. I don't see how the FO can risk that very real possibility happening.

Restructure and Trade AR.
Use 1-#1 pick and maybe a #4 to pick up a top WR like Moore that should have been done at the trade deadline last season.
Draft WR Rashee Rice mid #1 pick, he's gonna be a future possession chain mover we don't have.
Draft TE: The best blocking/ receiving guy who doesn't go down with one tackler.
Draft RB: To eventually replace AJones.
Draft big road grader OL types
Draft Safeties-2
Draft Kicker
Use 2023-2024 draft picks to get this started in the #1-#2 range. then we will have enough talent to move forward.
