Julio hasn't been able to stay on the field. OBJ is injured and won't be available until late in the season, if his rehab goes well. Landry could be a guy they go after, but I'd rather have a healthy OBJ. My guess is they stay put with whom they have, now. Maybe they use the money to bolster their CB room by signing FA Kevin King, on a team friendly deal.

I perhaps alone among the cheeseheaders on here would like to see them try to bring in a vet receiver of the caliber of those three or a McLaurin a player who would be harder to swing a deal for .) Jones might get a lift from being on a winning team again, Beckham proved his worth late at the Rams and could bring some much needed vet experience late in the season . Landry would give us the most for the whole season.
Somehow , with all the draftniks on here we have come to think that we have somehow replaced and even improved our receiving corps from last year. I am sorry but I don't think so! Watson already has a case of the dropsies . The early comparisons to MVS will soon appear . He has to prove himself a threat before the mere fact of his vertical speed etc. will demand that much attention. Cobb and Watkins will have to stay healthy . Outside of Lazard and the rbs, there is little to rely on. Tonyan looks equally unsure after his injuries . So a limited receiving corps is a problem. The echoes of Ron Wolf saying his biggest regret was not getting a better receiving corps for his qb resound again this year ! Certainly our defense has improved and Rodgers is the MVP and can make things happen but we still have a missing link with our limited passing game ! One quality vet would help come playoff time . What is a team-friendly deal? A warm six pack and he promises to turn off the whirlpool when he is done soaking from his last injury?

My recollection is that Landry is mostly a slot guy. If anything I think they'll want a guy who can play on the perimeter.

It's possible. There's some cap space to be made in a JA extension or a post-Jun-1 cut if needed. I think OTAs and minicamp will tell the Packers more about what they have in their draft picks and whether it looks like AmRod can take a significant step forward. Some of these WRs are going to linger on the market for a bit--guys like Landry and Jones aren't going to take 2022 off. They'll eventually sign somewhere and, as time goes by, their price point will come down.

Good teams stockpile talent. If the Packers are seriously considering themselves contenders in 2022, they're watching these guys and are not going to rely on rookies to carry the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see a signing of SOMEONE (maybe not one of these three) by mid-July (especially if there's an injury in the WR room).
