Alongside Kenny Clark, Deano Lowry and Tyler Lancaster have dominated the interior for the past 2 seasons and while many Packer fans fretted that the team might lose Tyler to free agency Gutey shrewdly outbid the rest of the NFL to retain his services.

And while a large contingent of Packer fans also worried that Deano might become a cap casualty this offseason, Gutey made the wise, wise decision not to move on from this stud -- a stud that he gave a sizable second contract to just a couple of years ago. Let losers like the Bucs sign a guy like Suh when we can have Deano for about the same $.

No need to worry about the defensive line in 2021, just like there was no need to worry about it in 2019 or 2020, with Deano and Tyler getting so many snaps.

For a puzzling moment or two - I missed the sarcasm. Well done!

26-6 with Lancaster and Lowry on the line.

All these guys do is show up and play hard every game....and then some fool feels he has to make some snotty remarks about them. “Fans” like this make me want to puke.

Playing hard is not synonymous to playing well.

26-6. If either player were released, they’d be signed immediately. I don’t blame you for wanting above abpverage players at every spot, but that’s not reality.

I believe that 26-6 has more to do with Aaron Rodgers than Lowry and Lancaster. In fact if Lowry and Lancaster were just average, the team record might even be better. Lancaster is OK as a rotational / bench player but not a starter. Meanwhile Lowry at 7+m.yr. - is neither an above-average player or an average player.

You don’t understand what a team is, yet you think you’re smarter than the GM You aren’t.

First fact; no person can think for another -we can only think for ourselves. Second fact; the d-line remains the area of greatest deficiency for the Packers - last year and so far this year.

Ah yes the D-line - a.k.a the team's weakest link, soft underbelly, main fault line etc. If any part of the team has needed to be re-created, it is D-line. So far nothing. And I don't think the draft class offers any significant solutions (for this year) nor free agency (due to salary constraints). What remains are last cuts from teams but that can be bit of a dog's dinner. Have the worry beads close at-hand.

Front 7 is not a priority position in this defensive scheme. We draft mostly CB and OT. When we did draft big name DL, Ted always blew the pick. Even Hawk was a blown pick. Kenny Clark finally came along. He needs a partner. And we need an impact LB. Heck, every unit on this team could use a top player.

The bigger the better. Why? Concussions. Just look at Keke. Next- The Bench strength is a concern.

Do a comparison. Raji' combine to that of McNeils pro day. Read between the lines guys. McNeil must be drafted.
