I have a Q I'd like you to ask Capers, MM, TT, scouts, coaches, pundits, and/or personnel people.
Who in your opinion was the Defensive MVP of SB45? A lot of players who made plays also had warts: Collins had the TD return but didn’t hold containment on a couple of Pitt runs, same w/ Peprah yet he led the team in tackles. CM3 contributed to the FF but didn’t do a lot in pass rush though was used more as a spy. Raji I expected to be more of a disrupter. Hawk had a solid game, the same for Bishop who also had the fumble recovery. Tramon was patroling shut-down corner.
Maybe a player gets it for what he prevented Pitt from doing; his overall play added to his stats.
I think it's an intriguing Q b/c so far I've rec'd varied answers w/ good reasons for each pick.

If you haven't read JerseyAl's take on the role CM3 played in that Superbowl... you are missing out.

Now i'm not stating that whether he was the mvp of the defense or not, but the "lack of flashiness" from Matthews had a purpose, and he was only on QB spy mode on 8 plays of the 67 the Steelers had in that game.
