Mike McCarthy to Reportedly Attend Wednesday Street Naming Ceremony

In honor of coaching the Packers to victory at Super Bowl XLV, Mike McCarthy Way finally has found a home. 

On Tuesday, the Green Bay Village Board approved the plan to rename Potts Avenue for the Packers coach with a name changing ceremony to be held on Wednesday per Paul Srubas of the Green Bay Press Gazette. 

The change will be celebrated in a ceremony at noon Wednesday outside Green Bay Distillery, 835 Potts Ave., across the street from Ray Nitschke Field. McCarthy and team president Mark Murphy will attend, as will Aubinger and Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt.
