McLendon Eludes Packers, Signs Three-Year Deal with Steelers
Despite reportedly coming to Green Bay on a free-agent visit on Wednesday, defensive lineman Steve McLendon has signed a three-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's possible the Packers put a scare into the Steelers to offer more than their original-round tender initially given to McLendon.
Meanwhile, Green Bay back to the drawing board on the defensive line. They have plenty of options with eight players at that position currently on their roster, but production from the defensive line last year was mediocre. Adding depth through the draft is a distinct possibility.
