LaVar Arrington Thinks Ndamukong Suh Fits in Green Bay

Detriot defensive tackle, and occassional on field trouble maker, Ndamukong Suh, is looking for a new contract and potententially a new team, leading some news reporters to speculate on where Suh may land.

LaVar Arrington, who was an NFL linebacker for seven years, and now works for the NFL Network, believes that Green Bay would be the perfect landing place for Suh.

Arrington said,

"A lot of times, players that leave their team feel disrespected and that they weren't treated correctly, and they tend to stay in the division. I'm looking at Green Bay, I think that would be a great fit.

"You shore up the center of that defensive front, and that might have been one of the pieces that they were truly missing on that team this past season."

Suh would obviously be a good fit - he'd be a good fit on pretty much any team. He very well could be the missing piece to that defensive front.

Still, never will happen, ever.

And I'm happy about that. Suh is dirty and I don't want him on the Packers. Besides, Daniels is at least 75% of Suh already.

If we were ever going to pay a DL talent huge money, it would have been Wisconsin's own JJ Watt. No way in hell Suh's coming to GB.

Suh will go to the highest bidder. Send him to Oakland where we'll probably never see him again. Good riddance.

Packers would have to clear a lot of cap space to sign him. Don't see that happening.

If TT comes to the conclusion that Suh is a Reggie White type of addition than I could see it happening but short of that its extremely unlikely.

With Ron Wolf being enshrined in the HOF soon maybe just maybe that stirs something in TT to make a move like that but I seriously doubt it.

This is just plain dumb. Suh is a "good fit" on about 25 teams that could improve their DL.

But the cap hit taken by a team that signs him will be huge. The idiot speculating that Packers might pay Suh that kind of money know nothing about the Packers. They'd have to let both Cobb and Bulaga go and even then that might not be enough.

I could see it happening. They let RT Buluga walk. Cut Hawk and renegotiate Peppers deal. With the Cap going up the Packers could have the money to sign Suh and Cobb. With 35 Million in Cap space they could afford
12 million a year with Suh, 9 million for Cobb, 2.5 for draft picks.

The Packers will still need to find a way to address ILB, LT, TE, CB in the draft.

What happens to Williams, House, Bush, Raji, Ruion, and others if they bring in Suh. Plus future contracts of Daniels, Bakatarri and Lacy. With these things set in the future it would be hard to see the Packers bringing in Suh.

Imagine the headaches offensive coordinators would have trying to figure out how to block, Matthew's, peppers, Daniels. Plus with the explosiveness of the Packers offense. That could make the Packers clear and above the best team in the NFL.
