Jones in, Watson out in the continuing adventures of the ailing hamstrings

David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins did not participate during Thursday's practice.

Another Packers practice, another chance to monitor the Packers hamstrings.

The good news? Aaron Jones was back at practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring during the Packers Week 1 against the Bears.

After participating in Wednesday's practice, Christian Watson did not participate during Thursday's session. However, LaFleur indicated after practice that sitting him Thursday was part of the plan in bringing him back. Sounds like there's hope he could make his season debut on Sunday.

Speaking of Sunday's game, the Packers will most likely be dealing with a makeshift offensive line yet again. Both David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins have not practiced this week.

David Bakhtiari hasn't actually practiced at all? Yet? So seeing a DNP next to his name is as normal as our DC playing soft zone every Sunday. "He" could actually still play.

David Bakhtiari will never return to form. His knee has taken 3 years, and he continues to miss games. The aging process will only speed up the end of his career. It's unfortunate, but that's the reality.

I hope your wrong about Bakh. The guys' a warrior. But the reality of keeping him around given the past 2 years is starting to not make sense for me as a Packer fan - either from a player development, OL chemistry, or financial perspective. But you've got to admire his skill set regardless...

Watch his film. Any play he's in, he dominates. That's returning to form.

He may not return to HEALTH. How many games will he play? My hope is 12, but obviously that's not based on any insight about his knee..

He's paid this year, his trade value has to be nil, and next year he's a $20MM cap hit even if he doesn't play. There's time to figure it out, and plenty of reason to.

Time shelf Watson, basically useless to team. Give him an injury release settlement or trade him for Taylor if still possible!

This clown acts as if green bay is the only team that had players with hamstring issues .

So let me understand your thinking trade watson who had a hamstring injury for a running back you will have to pay 12 to 14 million dollars a yr for who also has injuries.

Or better yet cut him .

Are you Bill O'brian or just naturally this bright

That is so incredibly stupid of a thought as one could possibly have. You need to learn some football and quit the 3 Stooge act!

Hate the word, but pay attention to and love your own, man. Our hamstrings do a lot for us. Strengthen them, stretch them, give them daily work. Pilates is great.

SJC, who we cut, is a game day elevation for the 49ers. Doesn't mean he'll see the field.

If he can even play then....some people are prone to hammy injuries, he must be one of them...too much weight room work when he got to the pro's maybe??
