Jolly Trial Pushed Back Again

The suspended defensive lineman's trial has been rescheduled for Monday Aug. 2.

Suspended Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly, who was scheduled to go on trial Friday July 30 in Houston, has reportedly had his trial pushed back.

From Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel via Twitter:

According to court records, the trial of suspended Packers DE Johnny Jolly has been pushed to Aug. 2.

August 2nd is this upcoming Monday.

Thankfully we don't have to care about this anymore. Sounds as if Jolly has a ton of problems that he needs sorting out.

He's got as much time as he needs.
My take is they've been following him around. How long can he go without violating the bail bond conditions of no alcohol and lord only knows what else?
I think they are also investigating him for being a kingpin or a thug or whatever they think he is.
Seems like they want him bad. Still think the initial case is weak as hell, though.

Glad you guys are still reporting on this. Though GB sort of hinted he would never play with the team again, I'm still rooting for the guy as poor as his decision making has been.
