Help Us Rank the 50 Greatest Games in the Favre/Rodgers Era

The time has come to cast your votes!

Hey folks. It's been a bit.

You haven't heard from me in a while because I've been busy with a couple CHTV-related projects:

1) The draft guide. GET YOURS!

2) As you may recall from one of my final Hello Wisconsin columns of the year, I had a wild idea for the offseason: a ranking of the 50 greatest games of the Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers era (1992-2022).

Well, #2 took a bit longer a bit more work to set up than I thought. Several weeks back I asked CHTV readers to contribute which games they thought should be included. I chose the 55 most-mentioned ones so we would have a list of 50 plus five honorable mentions.

There are some games that are losses. There are some games that are incredible victories. There are some games you might not even remember. But there are a lot here, and it's time (finally) for the voting to begin.

CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE GOOGLE FORM FOR VOTING!

You're going to want to make sure you've got plenty of time to get through all of this. After all, you're being asked to rate up to 55 games on three different metrics. So grab yourself a beverage and a snack and spend some time clicking through and reminiscing on these games.

I'll be giving a couple weeks for voting, and then once I've got the math all done, I'll be starting the countdown. Each week I'll present five games with the voting numbers and some commentary. We'll start with the five honorable mentions, then go all the way down to the top five.

I'm very much looking forward to this, and hope we get a large number of responses. Thank you in advance to all who participate, and a huge thank you to the many of you who submitted ideas for games to include!

It's going to take me a while to complete this, like you said, Tim.

Wanted to go through all the games before I started voting.

I'm afraid that I have a bias on the games I attended, so I'll try to look at it from a distance.

All the games are so memorable and historic that it's sad to even try to rank them and just better to appreciate them all as a whole.

I think your memories from games attended would be interesting. You see things differently at the game. Go for it! No wrong answers!

I have been attending games at Lambeau Field since the dark days in the Forrest of Gregg.

So many great games...some heart breakers, but mostly exciting, winning football on display.

But since I was there, I will select first game that started this 30 year chronicle:

Favre the unproven back up taking the field vs the Bengals down 17-3 with the Majik Man injured...leading the comeback to win 24-23 at Lambeau.

And the TD pass Brett threw to win game was to Kittrick Taylor. It was Favre's first TD pass, it was Taylor's only NFL TD reception, also Taylors first and only reception as a Packer.

After that game...Favre began his long Ironman streak of NFL games started. It was the game that started the 30 year reign of Packer QB excellence. May it continue with Love.

You forgot Matt Flynn. He should have at least one game in this list.

The Super Bowl wins aside, for me nothing will top the amazing game after his father died, with particular help from Driver.

There are others I choose to try and forget, many mentioned earlier. Since that’s not been as successful as I like, I will leave this endeavor to others with the thought that overall, I feel very blessed to have watched both Favre and Rogers led teams through highs and lows for so long.

That feels even more of a privilege now that I’m excited about watching Love for the foreseeable future. Never were we out of it for long, we could always bounce back, and I believe we are bouncing now.

They do have him listed and talk about his record-breaking game that got him the Seatle deal.
