This is why again you have to have a specialist punt/kick returner....always trying to fill in with a receiver/cb/wr/rb
never works....just like today.

Bring Trevor Davis back up!!!

I look at the loss as being on the coaches. For MM calling that stupid running play at the one yard line. LA was looking for that. And then Ron Zook. HE should have told Ty if the kick is in the endzone, don't run it out. Bad, bad bad. And what is it during the second and third quarters the offense goes to sleep. That is on MM too. If MM wants to know how to call plays that work, check out the LA coach. If it wasn't for Alexander, it would have been worse. And Whitehead, he is not the answer. And Tramon Williams is looking slow and old. Defense needs to put King and Alexander one on one with the other teams best receivers. And where is Breeland?

I dunno. Let's not fire anybody just yet. The team played pretty well today on both sides of the ball. Let's not panic just yet. The NFC North is pretty wide open and if we can show up and play each week like we did then all is not lost by any means.

Bert - you would be correct if this did not happen before, but it has happened far too often with this team.

Yes, we showed up and played well on both sides of the ball and it was all wasted because of a stupid football play. If the coaches told Monty to stay in the end zone and he didn't then chuck him. If the coaches didn't remind him of the situation and tell him to stay in the end zone then fire the coaches. Failure to understand situational football is just stupid football and that is why the Packers lost again today. After the 2014 debacle this should never happen again. No excuses. Time for accountability not more stupidity.

Bad teams make the mistake that Monty made today, bad coaching allows it to happen. Thanks, Since '61

You know when it was 10 nothing and then we didn't score, and the Rams came back after the safety, I thought to myself my God,is this like the Seattle game all over again? Little did I know how right I was going to be. MM has no killer instinct and less memory apparently. Zook??

These are the type of losses that get players chucked and coaches fired. Monty should be chucked just like Bostic was. Zook should be fired and if this season continues to go South MM needs to go as well.

After the Bostic debacle in the 2014 NFCCG how can we allow another player to make a similar stupid play. Why is there any consideration given to running the ball out of the end zone when we have Aaron Rodgers one of the best 4th quarter winning drive QBs of all time. I'm not saying that we would have scored but you need to give Rodgers a chance at least.

The Packers had played a near perfect game up to that point. It was their best game of the year that we all had been hoping for.

Why does this keep happening with our players making stupid plays, especially at critical times late in the game? No excuses acceptable. If the coaches did not tell Monty to stay in the end zone they should be fired. If Monty made the decision oh his own, chuck him, now, don't even bring him back to Green Bay.

To lose this way is just too frustrating to imagine or understand. 2014 NFCCG all over again. We don't give the ball to Aaron Jones enough but we allow Monty to take the ball out of the end zone when all we need is a FG to win. This is beyond stupid. This is unacceptable and irresponsible. A High School team would not make the mistake that Monty made.

Total waste of a great team effort. Thanks, Since '61

I wouldn’t let MM back on the plane it’s his lack of discipline and accountability.

It was pretty obvious that after the Rams kicker had booted deep in the end zone 2x before they did not want time off the clock.

So, with 1:50 left on the clock the Rams OBVIOUSLY wanted the Packers to run the ball out to eat some of the clock and hope to tackle the Packers around the 20 yard line.

So, the ball gets kicked just inside the end zone. . you down it. Go to the 25 yard line with 1:50 left on the clock ..putting the ball in the best QB hands in the nfl and make a drive for a FG to beat the #1 ranked team.

But what happens? Lack of communication and reinforcement by the coaches of what you are supposed to do just like the Seattle debacle in the NFL Championship.

The Packers just never learn even from the most CRUSHING defeats in NFL history.

Those that do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

STUPID. ..STUPID...STUPID
OUT SMARTED AGAIN MM.

You would think after 13 years if coaching that you would be better than the Rams coach. NOPE.

Whoever becomes the next Packers coach it MUST be mandatory that the coach have to watch all our crushing, heartbreaking last minute losses since 1992 due to lack of communication and
ignorance by our pathetic coaching staff.
You have to yell at the idiots like Tom Brady says, "JUST DO YOUR DAMN JOB!"

Ok This is just ridiculous. MM must have more control over his team. Ty is a veteran and should know better than to take that ball out of the end zone. Cut him now. MM run play up the middle on the 1 yard line Wow. Stupid. It comes back to situational awareness and discipline. This coach doesn’t demand it from his players. Bye bye MM. it’s time.
